Who is Jesus?

Without Jesus we are all stranded in sin. God knows you and sent his only son to fill this chasm of sin with love. Jesus is your purpose and heaven is your home.

At Easter we see that death is not the end of the road; it’s a turn in the road. Discover how Jesus’ death meant the end of your old life, the end of the crushing weight of sin, the end of climbing the religious ladder and the end of dying in despair. Bring your pain and give it to the one who can handle it and hold it. When Jesus rose, our faith was born; with that, hope was born, freedom from shame, peace, forgiveness, and a place to bring your aching heart.

What is missing?

God’s deep delight and desire is to give his kingdom to his flock. That means you too.

When you feel restless, when you can’t shake an unmet feeling that you were made for something more – it’s because you were. You were made to know and enjoy the glory of God. But because of our sin, we have exchanged the glory of God for other things. We have created an unbridgeable chasm between us and Him.

I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, Do not withhold; bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the end of the earth, 7  everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.” – Isaiah 43:6–7

Why Jesus came

Jesus came to overcome the sin that stands in the way between us and God. He died and rose again to fill this chasm that separates us from God, so that, through undeserved grace alone, we could receive forgiveness and a new life.

What it means to believe

When you’re ready to trust Jesus and receive his forgiveness for all your sin, the next step is to simply tell him that you commit to believing in him.

You can put your faith in Jesus by telling God:

  • That you realise you are far from Him.
  • That you believe Hê sent his only son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross and rise from the dead so that you can be saved.
  • That you promise to give and orient your life to Him.
  • That you need his Holy spirit to fill you, guide you and give you the strength you need to live the life He made for you.

You can put your faith in Jesus by telling God:

That you realise you are far from Him.

That you believe Hê sent his only son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross and rise from the dead so that you can be saved.

That you promise to give and orient your life to Him.

That you need his Holy spirit to fill you, guide you and give you the strength you need to live the life He made for you.

Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. – Romans 5:2 2

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16

What is next?

Come to our table and share life

Table Church is a community of people that share life in the steadfast pursuit of loving God and one another.

We do this by unceasingly inviting people to life through the intimate setting of a table where everyone has a seat and a voice.

Sunday gatherings

We gather weekly on a Sunday at 09:30 at 6 Mopani Street, Hennopspark to talk, worship and connect.

Here the Table becomes a place, and a person, where you can feel home and where you can belong.

Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. -Romans 5:2
