You are never alone at KSM. Through love, compassion, prayer and Christian counselling, we will take your hand and support you through difficult periods. Through times of despair, that dismal feeling of being deserted in our time of need allows the enemy to challenge our belief and makes us question our faith. However, it is comforting to know that we have been given measures, including a caring community and Christian counselling, so that we may draw strength from Him to persevere through difficult times and dispel our frustrations and fears.
Our Lord tells us that He will support us through the challenges life may throw at us, and it is in His Word we trust and believe. In times of desperation, He knows that the enemy will prey on our weakness and doubt. So, He shelters and protects us by introducing a faith-based support network into our lives, offering us strength and guidance through Christian counselling.
Our KSM community offers vibrant and thoughtful groups of men, women and young adults who connect regularly and spend time together to facilitate spiritual growth. They are great servants of the Lord. They offer us prayer and assistance in overcoming the current obstacles that have been placed in our paths. For the Lord says, in Galatians 6:2, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.”
Guidance and Therapy for Adults and Children Through the Netwerk vir Lewe (NVL) Centre
Through pastoral guidance and faith-based Christian counselling, we offer therapy, support, love and prayer for the challenges you may be facing. Sometimes, simply talking about it may help and sometimes you might require more assistance, so if you feel heartbroken or are suffering from:
- Bereavement or loss of a loved one
- Emotional or financial stress
- A recent and painful divorce
- Unemployment
- Ill health and hospitalisation
- A sense of overwhelm and anxiety
Don’t hesitate to reach out to the NVL centre where you will be provided with support, consolation and care during times of hardship. We all deal with challenges differently. Divorce may feel like a bereavement to some and emotional or financial stress might lead to addiction in others. Regardless, we all need to confide in someone through these difficult periods. We include our youth during these trying times. KSM offers support and guidance to children of all ages, especially when dealing with loss, bereavement or separation.
Your KSM family knows that not everyone is bold enough to step forward and ask for assistance. Some may be too shy or ashamed of the challenges that surround them. This is why we offer anonymity in email or telephone calls. In-person or anonymously, your spiritual journey, obstacles and challenges are kept in the strictest of confidence.
Know that no matter your circumstances, there are people that care about you. A Christian family that supports and loves you and wants to bear your burden with you. Thus, we encourage you to please reach out and contact our loving support members. We are here to help you.
